The human population is increasing and so is our demand for energy. How should the world meet the energy demands of the future with as little environmental impact as possible?
To answer this question, please use one of the following visions for the focus of Earth's future energy production:
- Since the majority of energy production is already based on fossil fuels, the world will focus on advancing technology to find new and better ways to gather fossil fuel sources while reducing emissions.
- Since different types of renewable energy resources are available in different areas, the world will focus on developing many more renewable resource electricity generation opportunities while minimizing impact on land use.
- Since fossil fuels are limited and renewable resources differ by location, the world will focus on making electricity generation as efficient as possible so that the most electricity is produced with the least cost or environmental impact.
